I've got good news and bad news. Let's get done with bad news first, the manhwa is too short. It could have easily been stretched out more. We don't see this sort of unique concept these days.

Now the good news, We don't see this sort of unique concept these days! Tell me, where have you seen a story that has nsfw with a hank as ml, that makes sure reader feels butterfly in their stomach, gives you nsfw (not much, not less, just the right amount), combines it all with thriller, that is ACTUALLY executed properly, in the end makes you think about the story ... after you finish it? I'll wait.

My only complaint is that it ends too quickly. The last 4 chapters could easily be covered in their own separate arcs, and let me tell you I am NOT exaggerating. I've seen worse stories streched out like worn out rubber bands. Guess the author got lazy, or did not get green signal from the publisher. What a loss!

Was I tricked into reading this by watching some confusing shorts on YouTube? Yes, yes I was.

The shorts that I saw had Namuel and Adriana, which led me to believe this story was about them. Sike! That's the wrong number! They're just a side couple 🤦‍♀️. Those YT shorts were made using content from only ONE chapter that comes after you read a 100 chapters. What a bummer.

The main story is meh, plot is very bland. The shtick was to be a funny, meme-able. When it's not trying to be funny, its boring.

The artwork, good good, but romance chemistry drawing, needs more work ... on that department. They cannot even kiss properly for crying out loud!

It might be just me, but I could not shake off the eerie similarity of Rainelle's first ever human form appearance with this one character from this one Barbie movie - I think the movie is called Barbie Swan Lake or something. There was a character in that movie who dressed up just like Rainelle's first human form. And I hated that b*tch! Gave me nightmares as a child!

If you care to listen to my rants while I was reading the story, feel free to read after the line. Overall, the story is a 'meh, I'm not sure what to read so might as well give it a go'. The fanservice is good. The plot? Good enough for a story that primarily focused on delivering fanservice. Will you have good time reading it? If you are into fanservice, then yeah.

Chapter 1-20 (read in X)
The story is all over the place. It tries to take the popular idea of narration where instead of shoving all things that readers must know in one go down ... their throat, this story breaks down each information and feeds them from time to time. But the thing is the author was an amateur, this narration technique felt out of place as one time we are learning about ML's backstory and the next thing we learn is the backstory of FL's mother, with no connecting incident taking place in between.

Chapter 20-30+ (read in Y)
Ok, so I was totally unaware till this point that this is a full fleged henrytai. There exists two different versions of this story. This explains why the story sequence is so jumbled up. This is so absurd cause they literally had a picnic inside the prison. At this point, the story is not even trying to hide the fact that this is a "your regular highschool romance" but in a prison setup. They are just running with the school romance concept while occasionally bringing up the "oh I'm in a prison so I can't do this and that".

Chapter 39
This is an absurd story. There is steam-powered trains, horse-drawn crates, and then suddenly you see a yellow cab! Even the story itself is not taking it seriously!

The first time FL learns about ML's trick of changing his gender, her first question should have been "why did you hide your gender and hook up with me in prison? Why even were you in women's jail?", but her first question was "why didn't you reveal this secret sooner to me while I'm hooking up with you in my house where my mother is also staying?"

According to author's own given logic, mages lose their power once they fall in love, yet ML was seen using his full power except for in one instance where his power was crackling up and not working.

Manhwa of the children, for the children , by the children.

If you are children (age 5-14), this manhwa was written specifically just for you by keeping your age in mind, as you are so young your neurons will not fire as much as the elders. If you belong below this age range, I'm just impressed you've come this far! If you're above the age range and enjoyed it, please explore other enjoyable things in life.


The plot of the story is so cliche that it's almost vomitable. I personally indulge in such vomitable pieces just to have that sweet adrenaline rush. Oh to my utter disappointment, ... the art is so choppy that it fails miserably to deliver me my hormone stimulation. As someone who's close to finishing 100 manhwas, I've only got some noteworthy manhwa (that I can count using just 1 finger), I know stories specifically in this genre are trash. However, this one is a bit special as it takes a dive towards becoming one of the pioneering outrunners when it comes to beating other trash. Here are my two cents on why the story has more plot holes than moon

• FL wanted to gather some fund for funding the disability support organisation, which could have been solved nicely by selling high quality wine (produced in her name) to filthy rich nobles. What does she do? Donates a hundred thousand bottles of wine for poor to drink and nurses to use 😑.

• FL and her brother matching the outfits as children was ok, but for it to continue even after they grow up, meet with each other once a week and still manage to match colors and design, no it's not cute anymore. I would also like to let the artist know about the norm of not wearing a color that conflicts with one's eye color, it is maintained by people for a reason!

• So much emphasis is put on wielding the spirit of light by the emperor, but at no point do we get to see the emperor himself wielding the spirit, nor confessing his lack of ability to wield it.

FL has one dimensional character, she takes the most complex problems and gets them solved through divine interventions or through her money. There is so much lack of build up on how to solve the problems that it is honestly frustrating. Now you might say, "well macquia, get ready to be surprised, we weebs read such manhwas for that sweet adrenaline rush, not to solve mysteries". This manhwa failed to serve justice on that department as well, as there was lack of proper build-up on romance (as I previously mentioned - written by a 12 years old, they have only lived so much live to know about the ways of how love works).

A well fleshed out storyline among the piles of unreadable slops!

I had no expectations going into this story. To my surprise, it was a very well written plot. Both ML and FL is so nicely explained and elaborated that it very nicely makes the reader get attached to these characters. One moment you pray for them, one moment you hate them, then you feel bad for hating on them after knowing the backstory. It's just so well fleshed out that one cannot but be invested in how the main characters life plays out.

One complaint I saw a lot is that the story is very toxic, ... specially ML towards FL. I'm not here to defend ML, I'll just share my two cents with you. ML had legitimate reasons for hating on FL, you get to see the specific moment from when the hating sprouted. Tbh, if I was in ML's shoe at that moment, I'd hate FL too.

There's a saying that we the mass humanity is just background characters for the handful amount of billionaires in the world, since they get to experience everything exactly the way they want. FL is someone who technically belonged in that rich class, and our boy ML somehow managed to woo her despite being a street urchin. I mean, all cheers to him!

If you try to understand the story, specifically try to understand the backstory of ML, you will understand why ML was being hostile. I also like how both mended themselves to be suitable for each other in the end.

But, could the ending of main story have been better? Definitely.

To wrap this up, will I recommend it? If you are up for some wholesome realistic adult relationship, by all means, go ahead, and don't forget to root for ML, he deserves it!

As my literature teacher used to say, "the plot drifted far far away".

Too much information and so little execution of the genious of the plot. The concept was good, it made sense after around 70+ chapters. It's fine when you take time to explain the story, but it is not fine if the journey is boring.

A cluster of information was flash-flooded on top of the readers without prior buildup, giving the readers the burden of making sense of things on their own.

A good story tends to set up concepts bit by bit while familiarizing readers with it. 'Krunaruka' was a thing that made ... sense to me at around 80+ chapters, even though the name was dumped on the readers way too early.

Speaking of Krunaruka, what is going on with the naming things in this story? It's like a Phil Collins 'in the air tonight' drum drop was done on top of the keyboard and whatever appeared on the screen was chosen to be name of things.
