This is not going to be a proper review of the novel as I've actually not read it all the way and I've mostly forgotten the story of Book 1 so I'm going to re-read that first But...

Lord of the Mysteries will always have a special place in my heart. LOTM is one of the few novels that does everything right. You can literally compare it to any piece of fiction and it will emerge as the better one. LOTM has around 1400 chapters excluding the extras. The book 2 is releasing with around 760 chapters as of now. Characters: 10/10 Why? Lord of the Mysteries has around 1000 characters. Every character feels real.
