Some Genshin Impact, Grim Dawn and Far Cry 5 mostly.
The barbeque was nice. Both me and him tend to avoid reaching out, not wanting to be a bother (which is stupid).
There are a few beaches in the area. The closest is 15-20 minutes by foot. It's usually packed during summer but it's a wooded area so it's nice just walking around.
Yeah, I can understand that. Warm summer days by all means but not that kind of heat. The fall is approaching here. While still warm there's a slight chill in the wind.

One thing I like with Seihantai is the group dynamic. Everyone works together more or less and they feel like real people, as in no tsunderes or such. Don't know how to describe it better than that.
I try to buy physical copies if I can. I've never been entirely comfortable reading on the phone. Apparently a lot of manga gets translated to german. When I order online from the swedish stores I sometimes notices that I've added the german edition to my basket. I haven't actually bought any german ones yet but one of these day. :P
Is Palworld an actual game? I just thought it was some sort of furry fetish thing. :P
Denshattack looked intense but fun!
I've heard that Witcher 1 is frankly a bad game, Witcher 2 is great and Witcher 3 is super great. I haven't played any of them yet, but I've read some of the novels.

Sounds nice. Have you decided on anything yet? Or even been there already?

Oooh, I hope everything works out well for you. :) How's the game developer business in Germany?

I think I had a fairly nice weekend, thanks. :)

Heh. I knew it had to be you. I got a sense for these things, now what is the greatest anime?

Hi there, been a while, apologies, life been very busy and I was just socially drain. Still am to be honest, but I appreciate our conversation so I feel bad leaving you on read for such long time. How have you been? How's life been lately?

For most people I am not sure, my experience and skill set is quite unique so I do find it easy to find a job. I am very good at self learning stuff that is not know by anyone in the company, like understanding legacy systems and so on, plus I have very good crisis management skills on top of all of my IT and ownership experience.

It blue screened at one point, probably overheat. Also it seems to be integrated to motherboard, so new pc at some point will be needed and only very old games for me for now. I do not stress much over it though sooner or later all technology dies, it just how it is.

Yeah ng+ mostly feels kinda same if we compare one + increase, couple of cycles like going from ng+ to ng++++ feels quite different I think. It's most definitely hard to tell from cycle to cycle though.

I personally think that Sith dlc has the best map in any souls game, if we ignore the gang boss part. But the main dlc with movable platforms is def breath of fresh air for a souls game, very zelda-esque or something. But yeah I can see how people would dislike it forces one to play the map and think about pathing more I think which is not everyone's cup of tea.

I love it both aesthetics and gameplay wise. I like that it forces a more methodical approach, I find it quite simple even with melee only, but there is a slow down of tempo with it, I can just be as aggressive in this part of the map compared to the rest of the game, beside maybe Iron Keep, but Iron Keep is more so just very silly agrro ranges that feels weird, slow down in Shrine of Amana seems more natural and even fitting the atmosphere of that stage. I even like the boss in it, at lesat design wise.

Definitely, I also enjoy playing older games and seeing how things change, I do miss quite a few things that are lost in time with some games especially things that might be not commercially successful like immersive sims as a genre in general, but we do get a lot of those ideas returning from smaller companies in case of immersive sims for example Prey I think is the best one ever made.

I played only Metal Gear Solid. Should try some of the sequels at some point though.

I am probably 60 hours in DS2, haven't played since my video card died, I could have finished 100% on this character already though but I play DLC's as well as did a lot of PvP.

Edit: Have you been playing Deadlock? Asking based on Minezz comment bellow.

Hey is this the Mo & Krill goat?
Elzette Aug 15, 10:23 PM
akane-banashi is at 218 chapters now! so there’s definitely a decent amount to catch up on lol. i actually think the manga does a really good job with the rakugo aspect too. obviously you don’t get the actual voice acting and delivery like you do in the anime, but the paneling, expressions and reactions do a really good job of showing what’s happening during the performances. sometimes i can almost imagine how it would sound in my head while reading. i think the anime has the advantage of actually being able to bring the performances to life, but i still really love how the manga handles it.

welpppp, i’ll tell myself i’m gonna read a few chapters and then somehow end up watching something or just getting distracted with gaming instead lol.

work then travel now more work, very hectic!
Elzette Aug 8, 10:06 PM
sorry for the late reply.

i can definitely see what you mean about the ending though. i thought the premise was really interesting and it kept me invested for most of it, but the reveal didn't hit quite as hard as i was hoping it would lol. it's one of those stories where i think the buildup ended up being more interesting than the actual payoff.

i watched witch hat atelier too! i really enjoyed it, especially the atmosphere and the way the world was presented. akane-banashi is one of my favourites though, i've actually been reading the manga too and i'm really loving it. i've been following it for a while now, so seeing it get an anime adaptation has been really nice. i haven't looked much into kamiina botan yet, though, so i'll have to check that one out too.

i've mostly been watching a few things here and there myself rather than going through a huge seasonal list. i've also been meaning to get back into reading more manga since i've definitely fallen behind compared to how much i used to read lol.

good to hear as well, still pursuing the game dev studies?
HanamiDango Aug 3, 8:14 AM
It's been a mixed bag. I spent the rainy days inside with anime and games and as soon as the rain stopped a friend got in touch and wanted to do a barbecue. So we did, got slightly buzzed and listened to some nice music. Other than that I've mostly been by myself. I've been down by the beach near where I live a couple of times, just chilling in the shade.
Man, you've got it rough! 35° is too much! I hope you manage and not just spend your days slowly dying in front of a fan.

One of the greatest animes this season is the second season of Seihantai na Kimi to Boku. I really like the first season and this one doesn't dissappoint. I also like Reiwa no Dara-san and Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari in particular.
I'm trying to read some of my manga I've been hoarding this last year (I prefer to start reading complete series if I can) and currently I'm reading Ookami Buka-kun to Hitsuji Joushi-san. It's nothing special but it's sweet and the artstyle is really nice.
I haven't played anyting really good in a while but I'm trying to play through my evergrowing library of games. Dead Island 2 was the latest and while not great it was a major improvement over the first game.
What about you?

Sounds nice! Any place in particular or just changing the scenery a little?

Cool! Any plans when you're finished? (Except looking for work...)
HanamiDango Jul 28, 3:04 AM
Thanks! :)
I'm currently on paid leave from work. It's a classic swedish summer, 30+°C or constant rain and not a lot in between. Since it's raining right now (and the last couple of days) I'm currently spending the days inside with my TV and computer.

How are you spending summer?

It's nice having your own place. When will you graduate?
