| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- We find out more about Tuxedo Mask this episode including bits of his past. I feel bad for him though since his parents died... >Brainwashing DVD I think I heard about this one before. Was a bit predictable to see Tuxedo Mask save Usagi though. Sailor VENUS IS here at last. Finally, it's about time since she's one of my favorite characters.  |

| Definitely more of a romantic feel to this version as both Usako and Mamo-chan more or less indicated their love already. Sailor V appears to save the day in what has to be the most dramatic entrance for any of the Sailor Scouts thus far. |

| This episode give so many MamoruxUsagi feelings *.* After episode 6 I was so worried about moment when Usagi noticed that Mamoru is Tuxedo Kamen, but this episode... They really followed manga! *.* Really nice done, but still prefer manga version :D |
| Wow, I forgot how much of an archetype Tuxedo Mask was for the knight in shining armour, looks like he saves her AGAIN in the next episode, it's getting old fast. Nice to see Sailor Venus though. |
| Kyaaaa~ More Mamoru and Usagi moments are always welcome. I just noticed that Usagi's voice is really good in a soft tone. But nevertheless, Sailor Venus in two week~! REJOICE BEYBE. |

| Sailor Venus makes her debut with style. She's been my favorite from the inner Sailor Scouts. Eh, brainwashing to get the LSC, kind of repetitive since we've already seen that type of thing a few episodes ago. A bit surprised that Tuxedo Mask didn't have his black stick with him. Although that punch to Zoicite was pretty good. We see some love developing between Usagi/Mamoru. |

| I loved the original, but this series is just... WOW! Loved this episode, we see romance growing and Usagi and Mamoru's love getting stronger, while in the original anime series the romance felt like it existed in the plot only because of Endymion and Serenity... I am really loving Sailor Moon Crystal and thumbs up for the character development! |

| The demon side should devise new strategies. Hypnotizing people to lead the task already failed once before so why try again? For the first time, Zoisite owned all the Sailor Guardians at once. But he was too slow and thus paid the price in full. Sailor V's appearance was badass though! Decent episode. Tuxedo seems like he's willing to let go of his past for Usagi. Romantic developments await. |

| Hell yeah Sailor Venus! This whole episode was so full of feels! Usako and Mamo-chan! <333 love it!!!! I loved the real fights on this episode. And my lovely usagi-chan is back to her clumsy funny self. Well this episode is so friggin awesome! Too bad I was out drunk and was not able to watch it first! :P |

| Such a good episode. The anime is starting to really find its own groove! Everything is so exciting now with tons of action. Loved the romance between Usako and Mamo-chan! Loved Sailor V's awesome appearance at the end! She came to save the day! Loved Tuxedo Mask punching Zoisite! Though... a DVD rental store...? Would teenagers even visit one of those? Haha! | OMG that part with Umino made me WTF XDDDD Same goes for the next one when Usagi smeared herself with Ketchup :D Those scenes gave the episode the old Anime fashioned comedy splash. The rest of the scenes were great too, like Metalia and Betyl, or Venus appearance. Too bad we have the sloppy animation and so many graphic errors, but at least it had more substance. I still enjoyed it. At least we got instant transformation and a cutted Usagi transformation. And damn we got spoiled with the preview of Episode 8 like with none other :F Now we need to wait till 18.10. for some Minako Action :/ Looks promising, I can't wait :) |

| A couple of things ... -First, I find it ironic that the OP is all Girl Power-y and actually says "I don't need a man to save me" when Sailor Moon is constantly needing to have her empty-headed ass rescued by Tuxedo Mask. Looks like you actually do need a guy to rescue you, frequently. -Second, DVD rental stores still exist? Not just DVD rentals, but an EVIL DVD rental store. So, Blockbuster then. I guess I can forgive the anachronism since the manga probably came out years ago, though Ami-chan still has a high-tech modern tablet PC. -Third, since when do arcade machines have a fucking DVD slot?!? That just any bubble-headed idiot can wander up to and shove a DVD into? And why is it JUST that one machine? The next two Sailor V machines in line have no such slot. Not a bad episode besides that, but damn this biweekly schedule is annoying. |

| I lold hard at the Umino part, and I always found him lame in the original anime. Great episode overall and the animation slowly continues to improve, Sailor Venus is in the house!. |
| Too much damsel in distress already...Usagi needs to stop being saved all the time. And somehow I don't see the chemistry between Usagi and Mamoru yet. She's already calling him Mamo-chan, and he already has his Usako nickname for her. They haven't met that many times for them to be calling each other that familiarly have they? Well the moment when Mamoru says that he wants Usako, that was still cute. Best moment though has to be when Sailor V arrives, she's so cool! |

Zoisite obliterated all 4 Sailor Guradians w/ Ease, Mamo saves Usako....expected but fails and Minako saves the day, waiting for next episode... |

| Loved this episode! although it felt kinda short but i guess because i was really pulled into the episode, i loved the little moment between usagi and mamoru "what i really want is you... usako" or something like that. sailor venus's transformation looks beautiful from the teaser they showed at the end |

YAY. There are all here. I see no one is giving Artemus any due respect or recognition. I find it funny that we have to go through the part where they all think she is the princess. Also, is this the part where Mamoru FYI,  .....Oh, did I spoil it? lol Think we will ever get that far into the series or will this be in another season, if there is one scheduled? |

| Animation still a bit odd in some parts but hey... Sailor V has appeared! I just wish the (brief) fight between Mars, Jupiter and Mercury against Zoisite hadn't been so one sided. But that's the way it goes =_=;; Can't wait for the next episode. Kunzite finally makes his move too :) |

Punching Zoisite in the face was actually more proactive than throwing a rose at him and giving some sort of sentimental (but, useless) speech. I wish he would have at least been able to punch someone in the first anime rather than just showing up with roses for the villains. Ultimately... he's not a senshi and he doesn't have fire, thunder or moon beams he can attack with. He's as normal as they come. |
| Lots of romance in this episode. Some nice character development. I feel really bad for Tuxedo Mask though, losing his parents :( We get to see Sailor Venus next episode! Based on the preview her transformation looks good. |

| Usagi and Mamoru's romance is developing too fast in my opinion. They barely talked and yet he's ready to throw his current life purpose away for her? "I want you, Usako?" Uh. Not believable. I hope we get some more interaction between the two. Conversations, maybe? Shared activities? The long silent stares are getting boring. I laughed when Mamoru punched Zoisite though. That was certainly unexpected. |

| I watched the entire 200 episodes of the old anime, but never got around to reading the manga. Thankfully this anime is more accurate and explains things I never really understood from the old anime >.<. But Tuxedo Mask isn't the same without his roses xD. |
