I definitely haven't heard anything, and a quick search doesn't bring up anything. It's been almost a decade, so honestly unlikely we'll see another season. It's not impossible and I hope they do make more, but I won't hold my breath.

Most likely will never happen. Just read the manga. It's a lot more far ahead and faithful to the original novels of Arslan. The anime makes a lot of changes that ruin the development and personality of characters like Arslan.

I'm from Iran, and I wanted to read the novels (It is famous in my country, it is even written by a Persian writer). But since anime is something I enjoy a lot, I gave this anime a chance, but the designs are so eastern in the manga (They are more like Chinese to Persian).

Fun fact: Amir means Young Emperor/Prince, and Arsalan (The correct pronunciation) is Young Prince in the story.
